Project Scope

CS Fire & Electrical was tasked with delivering a comprehensive fire safety and security solution, which included:

  1. Installing a Grade A L1 fire alarm system integrated with access control doors and a gas shut-off system.

  2. Deploying 64 fire extinguishers tailored to specific fire risks.

  3. Installing a CCTV system to enhance security and monitor fire safety.

  4. Commissioning all systems for compliance, reliability, and smooth operation.

Execution Plan

Phase 1: System Design and Integration

  • Fire Alarm System: Designed a comprehensive Grade A L1 system covering all areas. Integrated with access control doors for automatic release during evacuations and containment in high-risk zones. Included automatic kitchen gas supply shutdown upon alarm activation.

  • Fire Extinguishers: Positioned 64 extinguishers, including water, foam, CO2, and powder types, tailored to various risks.

  • CCTV System: Installed 4 high-definition cameras for monitoring entrances and high-risk areas.

Phase 2: Installation

  • Fire Alarm System: Installed detectors, manual call points, sounders, and strobes, with seamless integration to doors and gas supply.

  • Fire Extinguishers: Mounted with clear signage for accessibility.

  • CCTV System: Implemented cameras with motion detection, night vision, and remote monitoring.

Phase 3: Commissioning and Staff Training

  • Conducted comprehensive system tests, including fire alarm activation for door release and gas shut-off, and tested all detectors, sounders, and extinguishers.

  • Trained staff in system operation, evacuation procedures, and routine maintenance.?
